BOYS – ROYAL RANGERS

Reaching, Teaching & Keeping Boys For Christ. Royal Rangers is a ministry that motivates boys spiritually through
Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models. Boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program. Our Royal Rangers participate in age-specific activities and recreation such as canoeing, camping trips, and hiking.
Boys enjoy larger, officially sanctioned events that will involve many activities such as: pinewood derby races, awards ceremonies and to trips to annual Pow-Wows at our state camp.

Dedicated leaders, called commanders, provide boys the necessary direction during a weekly outpost meeting. The meetings are designed to develop the total boy for Christ and offer love and understanding between the boy and a godly role model.

Each age group meets weekly and participates in group activities, fun games, meaningful crafts and biblical lessons. These meetings are designed to help the boy grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.

Adventurers from the past include men like Christopher Columbus, who sailed west into uncharted waters to get to India and discovered the American continents; Nicolaus Copernicus, who developed a new theory about the arrangement of our universe; and Jedidiah Strong Smith, who explored the wilds of America’s western frontier. These are men who inspire us all to probe and expand our horizons.

As Adventure Rangers, sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade young men have the chance to do as these men. A Ranger is one who explores new frontiers, so the Adventure Ranger will explore new areas as he learns the history of Royal Rangers and takes advantage of opportunities for the future.
